A Publix-anchored shopping center west of West Palm Beach sold this week for $24.3 million — and even though the state’s dominant grocer has been on a shopping spree, the buyer wasn’t Publix.

Myron Vogel, a real estate investor based in Melville, New York, bought Crosstown Plaza at 2895 N. Military Trail from Brock Development of Palm Beach Gardens, according to property records. Brock Development built the center in the late 1980s.

Other tenants at the 130,000-square-foot center include Beall’s Outlet and Burger King.
