Palm Beach County wages highest in Florida, but below national average

Palm Beach County’s average weekly wage ticked up to $924 in the third quarter, the U.S. Labor Department said Wednesday.

That was a 2.2 percent increase from the third quarter of 2014, a pace that trailed national wage growth of 2.6 percent.

Among Florida counties, Palm Beach County tied with Miami-Dade County for richest wages. But both trailed the national average wage of $974.
