Best-selling author John Maxwell sells Singer Island condo for profit

Best-selling author John C. Maxwell sold his Riviera Beach condo for $7.4 million, according to a deed made public this week.

Maxwell and his wife in 2011 paid $4.15 million for the 7,445-square-foot unit at 2700 N. Ocean Drive.

In a 2011 interview, Maxwell said he liked the condo in part because he spends so much time traveling the world for speaking engagements and consulting appointments.

“This is just easy — easy in, easy out,” Maxwell said.

The prolific Maxwell is the author of dozens of books, including The 5 Levels of Leadership, Leadership Gold, Leadership 101, Teamwork 101 and Winning With People. His titles have sold millions of copies.

The new owners are N. Robert Hammer, the former chairman and president of CommVault Systems of New Jersey, and Ann Bailey Hammer.
