The Publix at 6820 Okeechobee Blvd. near West Palm Beach just sold to Publix Super Markets for $10.65 million, according to property records.

The 48,000-square-foot store at Okeechobee and Jog Road last sold in 2006 for $9.2 million. The seller is Allan Riley Co. of New York.

UPDATE: The tenant was the buyer, reflecting Publix’s real estate shopping spree. The retailer owned nearly 26 percent of its stores at the end of 2015, more than double the decade-ago level.

In addition to the deed, an “assumption-and-release agreement” between Publix and U.S. Bank was recorded Wednesday for $7.55 million.
