See how much Boca Raton buildings sold for

In a deal that brings a Fort Lauderdale fitness company’s headquarters to Boca Raton, a Deerfield Beach investor sold four properties for more than $45 million, according to deeds made public Thursday.

An entity affiliated with Orange Theory Fitness paid $13.9 million for the 77,000-square-foot building at 6000 NW Broken Sound Parkway. The space will serve as the headquarters for the fast-growing, high-heart rate concept.

In another deal, SBA Communications of Boca Raton paid $12.56 million for a 77,000-square-foot building at 5900 NW Broken Sound Parkway. SBA then flipped its former headquarters to Cancer Treatment Centers of America for $11.56 million.

Seems like a head-scratcher, but SBA had a lease on the space through 2022, according to its SEC filings. The company had been subleasing the building to Cancer Treatment Centers, and the discount might represent a credit for lease payments, says broker Jeff Kelly of CBRE, who represented the seller.

Kelly said two other deals closed, too: 990 S. Rogers Circle went for $12.4 million, and 6100 NW Broken Sound Parkway fetched $8.6 million.
