Update – Hurricane Irma: Bank of America offers these tips for managing your money:

Get some cash: Bank of America suggests withdrawing enough to pay for gas and food for at least three days.

Mobile banking: If Irma shuts down your local branch, mobile banking can let you move money and check balances.

Use automatic bill pay: To avoid missing a deadline to weather conditions, set up automatic bill pay.

Follow your bank on social media: Normal communication by phone and email might be down, but Bank of America promises to post updates about ATM access and branch openings and closings on Twitter and Facebook .
