Sheldon Adelson writes another check to fight Florida’s Amendment 2

Las Vegas billionaire Sheldon Adelson gave an additional $500,000 to Drug Free Florida Partnership, the group fighting Amendment 2, according to newly released campaign contribution data.
Adelson now has given $1.5 million to the effort to defeat Amendment 2, which would expand Florida’s state-regulated medical marijuana industry. In all, Drug Free Florida Partnership has raised $3.4 million.
Meanwhile, People United for Medical Marijuana, the pro-pot group, has raised $5.3 million.
