Florida researchers landed another record take from the National Institutes of Health, according to a Palm Beach Post analysis of federal data.

The state’s scientists brought in $527.7 million in the federal fiscal year that ended Sept. 30. That eclipsed the previous record of $521 million, set last year.

The two biotech institutes in Jupiter also set new records. Scripps Florida brought in $40 million in NIH grants, up from last year’s $36 million. Max Planck Florida won $4.5 million, up from last year’s $3.6 million.
