The 120-agent Fite Group Luxury Homes of Palm Beach is now part of Realogy Group’s ERA system.

The company, run by David and Nadine Fite, now is known as Fite Group Luxury Homes ERA Powered. Brokers face increasing pressure to invest in technology and marketing while also giving agents a bigger share of commissions, trends that have nudged many independent brokers to affiliate with national companies.

“Aligning with ERA Real Estate enhances our ability to attract a broader clientele, both domestically and internationally, through global referral channels, a comprehensive listings distribution strategy and an industry-leading technology platform,” David Fite said in a statement.

Fite isn’t the first Palm Beach County broker to join ERA. Home Run Real Estate, run by veteran broker Debbie Smith, in 2015 affiliated with ERA.

UPDATE: In an interview Wednesday, Fite said his company — which targets Palm Beach, eastern Delray Beach and the Mirasol community in Palm Beach Gardens — won’t compete with ERA Home Run, which is headquartered in suburban Lake Worth and has offices from Palm Beach Gardens to Coral Springs.

ERA is one of the brands operated by Realogy Corp., the New Jersey-based real estate giant which also owns Century 21, Coldwell Banker, Sotheby’s International, Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate and Corcoran Group.
